Park Rules
To ensure you have the most relaxed and enjoyable stay possible please respect other peoples’ space & property, and follow these simple rules.
NOISE
There is a noise curfew from 10pm till 8am
Please consider others and remember voices carry through these hours.
NB. Excessive noise, drunkenness and bad language will not be tolerated and result in immediate eviction
CAMP KITCHEN
Hours are 8am-10pm unless prior arrangement with management.
We provide these facilities for you comfort, please pay us back by keeping what you use clean and place your rubbish in bins provided.
No sitting or standing on tables, benches or pool table.
The pool table and darts board are restricted to 16 years or older
(10-16 years can play pool if supervised by an adult)
Please take care of all facilities and leave them the way you found them.
AMENITIES BLOCK
Children are to be accompanied by an adult at all times
Do not take any glass items in. This is a wet area; for your own safety please wear appropriate footwear.
LAUNDRY
Hours are 8am-8pm
Due to Lightning Ridge being a mining town, we have campers come in and also use our laundry however do not use our clothes lines.
If you require clothes pegs, iron or ironing board these can be provided from the office.
A copy of the rules can be found hanging up in the laundry.
SITE USAGE
Only one caravan, annex & vehicle per site
Prior arrangements can be made with management if you have any extra tents or cars etc. and are to be booked, registered & paid for in advance.
No external carpet is allowed on grassed sites. Only approved “grass friendly” annex matting will be permitted. Also, no trenches are allowed to be dug.
Sites are to be vacated by 10am on departure day unless prior arrangement is made with management for a late check-out, a small fee may apply.
The dump site is located at our town Information Centre.
SPEED LIMIT
5kms p/h or walking pace for all vehicles.
POOL
Open only in our hot months (approx. September till April) Hours are 8am till Dark.
No glass in this area. An adult must supervise children at all times.
PETS
Certain pets are permitted but must be authorized by management prior to or on arrival. They are to be kept on leads at all times, droppings must be picked up, wrapped & disposed of and noise kept under control. If you are going to leave your pet unattended whilst on a tour etc., please notify office and leave your mobile number in case we need to get in contact.
No Pets Permitted inside cabins or on-site vans or cleaning costs & eviction will occur.
VISITORS
All are welcome during your stay however you are responsible for your guests’ behaviour. Day visitors are welcome between 8am-10pm and have to leave their vehicles outside of park; they are not allowed to bring pets into the park.
Overnight visitors are required to register at office and pay as per extra person.
CHILDRENS’ BICYCLES
Are not to be ridden after dark or before 8am.
As it is a small park please ensure your children know ‘road safety rules’, do not ride on grassed areas or in the way of active traffic (vehicles & people).
Must be wearing a helmet at all times of riding.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Park patrons & guests use our facilities at their own risk. Care must be taken of your own possessions, lockup your property when your site, cabin, van or tent are unoccupied.
Parents are responsible for supervising & controlling the behaviour of their children, for their own safety and comfort of others.
RUBBISH
Please wrap all rubbish before placing in bins provided. Aluminium cans can be placed in the recycle bin situated near ladies amenities. All proceeds go towards the Lightning Ridge Hospital Auxiliary.
GATES
Summer - open 8am & close 8pm Winter – open 8am & close on dark
Once gates are closed there is only 1 way in and out of park (through main entrance)
IMPORTANT
Cabins, Vans and Sites are to be left clean. Wilful & accidental damage to park property or cabins, vans & sites left in a dirty state will result in the occupier paying for damages or cleaning fees and may be evicted from the park.
As a condition of entry to our caravan park it is acknowledged that the caravan park management, and its employees or contractors will not be liable in any way whatsoever, for any damage or theft caused to patrons’ property. This includes damage caused by acts of nature and disruptions to power supply.
Emergency Evacuation Plans are displayed in Amenities Block.
